DESCRIPTION:The Federation of Genealogical Societies Conference is coming t
 o San Antonio\, Texas\, August 27-30\, 2014! With over 160 sessions\, ther
 e will be something for all levels of&nbsp\;genealogists and family histor
 ians -- beginner to advanced. Plus\, there will be a huge exhibit hall\, l
 uncheons\, special activities\, and local research opportunities.\n\nThe F
 GS conference is unique compared to other national conferences because the
 y dedicate one whole day to society management along with having programmi
 ng for librarians and researchers. TSGS is proud to be a local co-host of 
 this event along with the San Antonio Genealogical and Historical Society.
  Below is all the important information you'll need to know.\n\nResearcher
 s:&nbsp\;\n\nIf you are a genealogy and family historian of any skill leve
 l looking to improve your research skills\, learn about new technologies\,
  and network with other researchers who "get" your genealogy obsession\, t
 hen days Thursday\, Friday\, and Saturday will be what you're looking for.

 esday is Society Focus Day with plenty of sessions and workshops to help y

 e members of FGS can also have a table in Society Showcase in the Exhibit 
 Hall&nbsp\;to promote your society with brochures and sample publications 
 (these can be staffed or unstaffed and the fee is $30)\;&nbsp\;societies c
 an also sponsor a table at the Wednesday luncheon\;&nbsp\;and even rent a 
 booth in the exhibit hall (if a society has something to sell). Go to the
