Come join the Comal County Genealogy Society on its summer Field Trip to see the Sebastopol House ­and other sites in Seguin, Texas. ­

The next monthly meeting of the Comal County Genealogy Society will take place on Tuesday, Septe­mber 9, 2008. This month's meeting will be a special Picnic in Landa Park. Bring your Family and Friends for a fun-filled evening in our Historic Park.­

The Annual Meeting of the German-Texan Heritage Society will be held on Saturday August 23rd at the Crowne Plaza Houston West Hotel in Houston. This year they are celebrating GTHS’s 30th anniversary, so make your plans now to attend this special event.­

The 2008 Texas State Genealogical Society’s 48th annual conference, Following the Evidence Trail, will take place October 24-25, 2008 in Abilene, Texas. This year's conference is co-hosted by the West Texas Genealogical Society. There will be vendors and door prizes; APG road show - free consultations; partner society special sessions; round table mini-sessions, and an awards banquet.­­
