You can add your own topic or response to the Comal County Genealogy Society web site.  It's not that hard, and you may find others interested in the same topic.  Here are the instructions... To post a Discussion Group: 1. Go to http://www.ccgsTexas.org a. Login (this has advantages, see below) 2. Click on "Discussion Groups" on the left menu 3. Select the right Topic Forum in the center window 4. You should now be able to see all the previous topics/threads in that Topic Forum 5. Click the "new thread" button 6. Under "Subject" type the title of your post or question. 7. Under "Message Body" type the full text of your query. 8. Check the "notify me when a reply is posted" if you want (see below) 9. Click on the "Send" button to post the new topic/thread. To reply to an existing posting: 1. Go to http://www.ccgsTexas.org a. Login (this has advantages, see below) 2. Get to the Comal County Queries forum (you can do this two ways) 3. Select the right Topic Forum in the center window 4. You should now be able to see all the previous topics/threads in that Topic Forum 5. Select the topic/thread title that you are interested in. 6. You should see full text of the original post plus all the replies. 7. Scroll to the bottom of the page. You should see a Reply box to enter your text. 7. Check the "notify me when a reply is posted" if you want (see below) 8. Click on the "Send" button to post the reply. NOTE: If you login first, you will have more options. For example, you can be notified when someone has posted a reply to your post. It will also display your ID as the person entering the query. You can also subscribe to topics so that you are notified any time a new post is made.
