Over the last week, Family Roots Publishing has shipped all the standing orders for German Map Guide Volume 31. This volume includes a total of 3,723 places - mostly towns, found in the Kingdom of Prussia, Province of Hannover (Hanover) RB of Lüneburg and Stade. I have an old photo of the Gruene Mercantile. Yesterday’s New FamilySearch (NFS) rollout news was so riddled with problems, I finally scrapped it. Today, we try again. Apparently, not all the rumors circulating right now are sanctioned. I don’t know if that means the information is incorrect, or just not yet officially announced. I’m still waiting on clarification from FamilySearch.

Over six hundred individuals are tabulated to chronicle the service of Comal County citizen soldiers during the war between the states. Actual soldier's records were used to document the service of each individual. Information on militia (home guard) units is also listed.
