New Braunfels, Texas

New Braunfels, the county seat of Comal County, is at the confluence of the Guadalupe and Comal rivers. The city is on Interstate Highway 35, thirty miles northeast of San Antonio and forty-five miles southwest of Austin near the southeastern border of the county. It was founded on March 21, 1845.
