24 Mar 2006. The unveiling of Delray Fischer's Comal County Land Patents map. This map honored the 160th anniversary of the founding of Comal County. The first set of these Comal County maps are a limited EDITION of 160 maps numbered from 1846 through 2006. Each number represents a year in the county history. The map come with a spiral bound index of the individual patents issued. A valuable feature Delray added on these maps is the new roads in the county; that makes it much easier to find tracts of land. The map was drawn with time-honored drafting tools of pen and paper, not with a computer-aided drafting program.
