On tour of the Knibbe Ranch
- CCGS members loading up and ready to tour the historic Knibbe Ranch at Spring Branch, Texas. The Knibbe ranch has been in the Knibbe family over 100 years. Old Spring Branch is located in the northwestern part of Comal County about 25 miles from New Braunfels.

2005 June field trip - Walzem Chapel, Knibble Ranch, and Schaefer Ranch
08 Jun 2005 field trip to the Walzem Chapel, the Knibbe Ranch, and the Schaefer Ranch in Comal County.
The Knibbe Ranch is owned by Chuck Knibbe and the Schaefer Ranch is owned by Mrs. Harvey Schaefer. Everyone brought a sack lunch since there were no restaurants in the area.
